Senate Bill 15-219

The Act, which unanimously passed both the House and Senate, and was signed into law May 20, 2015 by Governor John Hickenlooper, requires all law enforcement agencies in Colorado to join a multi-agency team tasked with conducting officer-involved investigations to ensure those investigations are not done in house and to promote greater transparency of the investigative process.

The following documents regard the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) Protocol for the Eighteenth Judicial District.
