Victim Responsibilities
Keeping Yourself Safe
Keeping appropriate criminal justice authorities informed of the current name, address, and phone number of the person to be notified about a case (typically the victim) is an important step in keeping yourself safe.

Victims of a crime are also required to write a written request if they want to be notified of information regarding the post-sentence process.

Process of Notification
For information on how to request information on an accused or convicted perpetrator, or on how to submit your own contact information to the appropriate criminal justice authorities, contact the Sheridan Victim's Assistance Unit at 303-762-2215, or the VINE Program at 800-CO3-VINE (800-263-8463).
