The Senior Call-In Program has been initiated by the Sheridan Police Department
to help ensure the welfare of our senior citizens.
This is a voluntary program for senior citizens to check in with the Police Department on a daily basis and advise the department of their status. This prevents the possibility of someone becoming incapacitated, needing assistance, and not being able to summon help.
How It Works
If you have registered, the Police Department will expect you to call in daily before 10:00 am. If they do not receive a call, they will attempt to call your telephone number to make sure you are okay. In the event that you do not answer, they will send an officer to your home for a welfare check.
