Records
Responsibilities
The Records Bureau receives, reviews, and files reports prepared by members of the Police Department. They are also responsible for reviewing reports for administrative purposes. This includes the submission of reporting information for the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS). 

Additional division responsibilities include releasing certain reports and filing, controlling, maintaining, and retrieving records.

Requesting Copies of Reports
To request a copy of a report, please come to the Police Department Records Office, fill out a request form, and pay the applicable fee. Accident reports are generally ready three business days after the report is taken. For more information about reports and fees, call 303-438-3216.

Fingerprinting & Office Schedule
Fingerprinting is available Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (closed for lunch from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm). The Records Bureau office hours are as follows:
