Studies show 29% of seniors in the U.S. live alone. The Senior Check In Program brought to you by SPD in partnership with Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office - allows SPD to learn about the well-being of isolated seniors in Sheridan. Older adults who join will receive a weekly call by a volunteer to make sure they're doing OK. The program offers peace of mind for distant relatives and lets seniors know someone cares.
